<<Question: if you want to burn music CDs, what type of
CD do you buy? I understand there are different types
- is it usually clearly marked on the package what
they can be used for?>>

Catherine, I use a Philips CD-Burner (hooked into my stereo) as opposed to a CDR
writer drive (hooked into my computer).

In my case, there's a chip in the Philips that requires MUSIC CD's for burning. These
are clearly marked on the packaging, usually MUSIC, AUDIO, and usually both. They cost
a little more, and a percentage of the sales are paid to ASCAP or some such...

For those that burn on computer drives and more expensive burners, like a Tascam, any
type of blank CD can be used.

Hope that answers your question!

Bob
