YOu should Check out Jaco on Weather Report's "Heavy Weather". His
bass playing just gives me the chills on track two. Actually, "Black Market"
is a good one too by Weather Report and their live album 8:30 or Jaco's Solo
Record. Speaking of Jaco, I got to talk to his wife Ingrid on the Italian
Joe Zawinul Chat Room. She was very genuine and sweet. I asked her how Jaco
felt about touring in '79 with JOni and she said that he never really talked
about it much. Also, I didnt want to ask too many probing questions. Yet I
did want to ask more, but I suddenly got disconnected and had to wait 10
mins to get back online. Nevertheless, she was really fun to chat with as
well as the others on the chat room.
Mr. Lahm, I don't know if you have heard it, but someone told me that Pat
Methany did an album with Ornette Coleman in 1985 with others and is a
really good record? Is this true, cause I love Mr. Coleman and would like to
purchase it.
