Sorry, I lost the real name of this thread but anyway: I've just uploaded an
email attachment to Catgirl's list (JoniMitchellFans) with a scan of the
cartoon coaster which clearly shows a face obscuring most of Quebec and the
Maritimes (that's the eastern part of Canada for those of you unfamiliar
with Canadian geography.) It's about 200 k so it won't take too long to
download.
The face is done in Joni's sketch style, much like her marker portrait of
Neil Young, and is fairly realistic but not quite recognizable. The mouth
seems to be obscured.
Guesses anyone?
