Six years ago Carol (my wife) and I let a room in our house to a teacher from
Chicago who had exchanged jobs for a year with a teacher from our local
school. Jennifer introduced me to some bands I' d never heard of at that
time, including the Gin Blossoms. To say I was impressed is an
understatement, and now "Congratulations I'm Sorry" and "New Miserable
Experience" are two of my most played CD's. I've been searching for other
recording without success until today, when I found a live recording from a
gig in Chicago in 1993, which is brilliant and includes songs which are on
neither of the 2 studio albums I have.
Lots of questions for you guys in the U.S. -
1) Do you know of this album?
2) Are there others?
3) When did they split -and why?
4) What are they doing now?
5) Did anybody ever see them - and how was it?
