Actually it was first aired as either an HBO or Showtime special.  I
remember watching it - several times - on the tube before I found the
VHS at Tower Records lo those many moons ago and of course I just had
to have it.  So I agree that letterboxing is highly unlikely and
unnecessary.

But I WANT that dvd!
