Old controversies revisited:

I like her hair in the perm. So what if it is kind of late 70s early
80s. It looks good on her! (Also kind of resembles my ex-wife's perm
same era, which looked good on her too at that length.)

The little artsy stuff (coyote and mouse, Joni and luggage, the skater
or dancer or whatever he was, even the James Dean segments and the rock
and roll dancers) can all go. That is very dated. I say that knowing
that a lot of my work from that period I wouldn't want the world to see
now because it is that dated too. If all the stuff that I say should go
had been woven into a more integral part of the video, maybe, but it
just interrupts the video IMHO. Even the clips of Amelia Earhart seem
intrusive. (My ex father in law knew Amelia by the way, and said she
was a great pilot, very touch, and a foul mouth.) I was caught up by
the A Earhart story when I was just a kid, it always moves me to see
clips of her, but they seem intrusive in this video, tossed in because
they could be.

I guess I'd prefer a straight concert film or MTV type video. But this
was early in the video development.

And I still like her hair.
