Oh Kakki, you are so much the better hostess than I can ever hope to be. Not
only did you take Shane out to a cool Joni related site but you even picked
him up at his hotel!
I, on the other hand, invited Shane up to MY gig in a nonJoni related place
(though cool & historic in its own way & in close to the neighborhood of
David Crosby so maybe its a 2% of separation thing...) & made him find his
own way to the place!
I am so glad to hear you two got to meet & that he took my advice that as
much as he was loving SB that her REALLY should go to LA to meet you. It
sounds like you showed him a classic Kakki fantastic time! I do think we
will be able to convince him to come to the LA Joni fest next year as he
hopes to make California his home away from home....
Someday I hope to be as cool as Kakki....
