THIS SUCKS! i've been obsessed with Patty griffin
lately, i can't stop listening to "flaming red". she
is so very very talented. it's hard to believe that
someone could get so screwed by their label. tell her
to call jonatha, maybe she can make a little money on
the side by putting out patty's new album! or
ani/righteous babe! how about madonna's maverick
records? madonna likes chicks...if she'll go for
alanis, she'll go for anyone, right?
what about the labels that have a lot of contemporary
folkies on them like Red House or Windham?
damn, there must be something to that "have your own
label" thing.
