<< However, there is NO
info on the cover and it was sealed so I couldn't get into it. >>

There's no information on the inside either, Russ, but as head of the FBI
here's what I've been able to uncover:

1. BYT - Vera Haime
2. This Flight Tonight - E-Clypse
3. BSN - Treasure
4. You Turn Me On...-Vera Haime
5. Woodstock - Retail Snail
6. Chinese Cafe - David Hay
7. Carey - Vera Haime
8. Help Me - English Girls
9. Chelsea Morning - Ralph Martin Willey
10. River - Jennifer Hollywood

The CD was put out by Dressed to Kill records, an outfit who specializes in
"tribute" CD's, much like K-Tel put out Top 40 hits collections. Dressed to
Kill's strategy appears to be to get performers that no one has heard of and
do extremely uncreative knock-offs, add minimal packaging and call it a
tribute. That way they can sell it for cheap. I of course had to get it as I
am the ultimate Joni covers whore!
As a whole, this CD rates about a D+. I DO appreciate the fact that there's a
cover of "Chinese Cafe" on it besides the predictable ones. And the "Chelsea
Morning" arrangement is interresting, I don't know if it's intentionally
creative, or if Mr. Willey can't hit the notes (CM DOES get UP THERE you
know...).

Anyway, in MY opinion you'd do MUCH better to buy some blanks and snag some
copies of our "Covers" collection. Of course, I am biased as hell! ;~)
