I never got that either. And is there something in
the muslim faith that says you can't sing? We had
friends who were Muslim and they had a rock band in
Pakistan. On the other hand, I guess they weren't
very observant Muslims, because they drank and so on.
Even if Cat "got religion", couldn't he have kept
singing? I remember reading - pretty recently - that
he stopped singing because it was considered
"frivolous" or something like that. Maybe it's only
the really fundamentalist Muslims.

As a mother, I can't imagine turning against my kids
for being gay. I can't imagine turning against them
for any reason, unless they committed a vicious crime
of some kind.
