Thank you, Mark, for helping me defend Joni's child.
They say she is ugly-I see great beauty there...
I would only add that if you listen, you can hear some nice
electric guitar playing by Joni underpinning everything-
also the layered harmony vocals are as elaborate and lovely
as anything she has done-(more below)

Funny, I don't relate to them that way at all-to me the title track, and
the
others don't seem disjointed, and the direction seems sure and
deliberate. Obviously I'm in the minority for loving this record so
much-but like Colin said, there's no accounting for taste! Or lack
thereof...
