oh come on!!! that's an urban legend! what i did see at the colon was
monserrat caballe getting up and walking offstage after the jump. the
scenery was not high enough so you could see the top of her head bobbing all
the way to the exit!!!! i loved it!

PS Saw a version of Tosca where she (Tosca) jumps of the parapets of
Sant Angelo to kill herself but unfortunately the matress at the
other side was too springy. Many returns of the soprano. It was side-
splittingly hilarious.
