DAVID LAHM I am sure you are tright. i can think of all sorts of reasons why they would try for President and other offices but officially 'to serve' is the reason. From what we see on the news etc, that is how the Pressies are seen and revered regardless of the truth. Personally, I think it has much more to with ego and power hunger than anything else and the public are stupid enought o fall for it and vote for it.
