Since there has been a discussion of children's issues lately, I wanted to
vent about something else concerning kids. We went to see "Planet of the
Apes" last weekend and there were people in the theater with their 2 and 3
year old kids! I remember being afraid of the flying monkeys in "The Wizard
of Oz" and these were 50X scarier! I just wonder how these movies affect
young kids, who can't really separate reality from fantasy yet. When I was
teaching, I could not believe the disgusting movies my kids had already seen
at the age of 3 & 4. What are people thinking????
