exactly. However, the point I was trying to make, perhaps wrongly, was
that it seemed to me that debra had been left out in the cold for quite
a while. Not just with the 'bitch' thing but with previous attacks on
her. they were all ignored more or less and it appeared like she was on
her own. Private support is one thing, but really I think public support
in caes like this is better because iwhtout it it looks as if the
attacker is the one supported and also, when one reads the archives,
that is just how it looks. So whiltst I understand people not wanting to
fan the flames, it actually looked like the attacks on debra were being
condoned.
