I know what you mean. We have the same problem here with our video stores.
Luckily Auckland has a wonderful store called Videon which has a huge
catalogue. They have very few of the latest releases, but have every
"classic" and "festival" movie you can think of! Recent movies I've rented
from them, or am going to rent (which I haven't been able to find anywhere
else): Personal Best; All About Eve; Arsenic & Old Lace; Who's Afraid Of
Virgina Woolf?; Come Back to the 5 & Dime Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean. They also
have lots of TV series, for example, they have most of the Prime Suspect
(Helen Mirren) series.

Now I just have to find the time - which I suspect will be "post-Jonifest"!
