People who have seen Jonatha live could say better how she achieves her
sounds. I think she uses a pick most of the time, somehow managing to pick
out individual tones along with strumming and percussion. There are some
songs, like Love Song, that are entirely fingerpicked, and some, like
Linger, that are entirely strummed, but most seem to be a combination of
picking and strumming. Because I Told You So is a good example of the
combination. Would love to hear from anyone who has seen Jonatha live about
this topic.
