What makes it difficult to "adjust" yourself against consumerism, overburdened debt, etc. is when you have difficulty aligning everyone in your family along the same lines. I've thought many times about trashing my car and using a bike to get around, but dang these SC drivers make it impossible to do without putting your life on the line...
