sorry to rehash an old thread - but ive just spent ages catching up!!
one of my favourite parts of the bible:
he has shown thee, oh man, what is good & what the lord requires of
thee
but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy
lord....

actually - i may have got the words mixed up with the song which is based on
the passage.
one of those special lines out of the bible, that just move me to tears
because of its simplicity, beauty, and depth......
and as far as israel & palestine go - i really appreciate the posting of the
person who did the original posting. suddenly i perceive the palestinians in
a whole new light - theyve become people to me instead of "palestinians" or
"muslims" or whatever label people may care to apply.
and while the situation does look impossible - look what happened here in
south africa. no - its far from perfect yet - but who would have believed
that a peaceful solution could be found here????
