Thanks to the security team for their diligence in releasing 1.5.13. From the joomla.org website: This release contains 26 bug fixes, two moderate-level security fixes and one low-level security fix. It has been 3 weeks since Joomla 1.5.12 was released on July 1, 2009. The Development Working Group's goal is to continue to provide regular, frequent updates to the Joomla community.
I think that many of us who manage multiple sites are wondering if an easy updater (a la Magic Updater, or whatever it was called) will be included in the core at some time in the near future since the stated goal of the team is to provide "frequent updates".
