Thanks Ozzie, I may very well take you up on that. I'm using MAMP with local host? I think what you are talking about is uploading everything through FTP. Is that right? I've had a bit of trouble figuring out how joomla works that way. I understand how to ftp all the files, though I get stuck trying to set up the databases on my hosting site. It was just easier to do through MAMP. Thanks!!! ozzie sutcliffe wrote: your_joomla_directory/templates/*your_template_name*(beez)/images Most of the images are there templates/beez/images the bees template has this pathI do it a different way via webmin ( unless you have root access webmin wont help you)and if I have a bunch of images I just ftp them to the directory You can try the module eXtplorer which will give you gui windoze type interface http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/2630/details Oz ps if you get stuck ping me privately maybe I can walk you thru it Its such a dreary day the only thing left to do is build a site or two LOL Its so wet even the ducks are pissed off, I over heard one duck quacking " let the water run off another back I have had enough already!" I'm starting to dive in and have lots of questions. Here's the first one... How can I change the images that are installed with the template? Is there a way to do it through the backend or do I have to reinstall the template with the new files I want? Thanks, Kam _______________________________________________ New York PHP SIG: Joomla!
