Thanks for checking this out, Donna. So in order for "self" to send
email I either have to make some modification to Joomla or perhaps
there is another registration program to use for Joomla that does this
and much more. Anyone have suggestions? Thanks!

On 1.6, if I set activation to "none" or to "admin", I get an email
that someone
registered.
