I'm a complete newbie to Joomla, looking to create a photo contest website for a non-profit organization. I am looking at using JWallpapers photo gallery extension from WeExtend and their Contest Module extension (both are subscriptions). The contests would be monthly with perhaps a few hundred entries (members only), but I want to have a scoring by a panel of judges AND a popular vote (among members) for the higher scoring images. I expect at the beginning I will upload the images from the back end, and maybe down the road allow members to upload on the front end.
Any recommendations for a better solution? Any information on creating a photo website is appreciated.
