We may understand this,  the biggest problem is the paying client.
They do not get it.
I had clients who wanted to update to 1.7 from 1.5.
Now they want to know where 2.0 is.

Why re-invent  methods.
The odd-even works.

ie 2.0 is unstable, 2.1 is stable.

Easy to explain, easy to remember.

    1.8 is now being called 2.5 because the numbering was off since
