Hello Bamidele, I must commend your utterance You have the Excommandoe spirit in you...................you seem to be among the true Excommandoe out there that is fighting for a course Sincerely speaking,we are the ones making it look complex,i see it as no big deal for our get together every month or quaterly in a year.We all have our priorities during the weekend but it doesnt mean we wouldnt be chanced to have our meetings Those days it was Command day secondary school Ikeja for our monthly meeting,we were pilled up in a class like ordinary student.........we got promoted to National stadium,as squatters before we got the Ojez restaurant............a bit better You can imagine a command that have some of the big wigs in the society going through all this procedures just to have a meeting. Now we cant even come up with a venue, not that we dont have people out there that can simply cough and it is done The visibility and reality of the excommandoe meeting in the whole of Naija rest upon all excommandoes shoulders i saw a group mail of 88 Set and was shocked that our seniors could go to the extent of dividing the Commandoe group as a body i started wondering and realizing why we couldnt surge ahead with all the plans, when a particular set will have their own identity 88 excommandoes are a collective group of gentlemen and women that believes in the Commandoe spirit........please stick with us we have allowed this issue to sleep without waking it up, The next generation of Excommandoes just graduated this year from CSSJ,what do we have to offer them?Nothing from the Commandoe point of view I got individual mails from commandoes saying that i should stop talking about the commando websites and go to face book ,i just wondered, even if we have face book, does it mean that we cannot have our own websites. www.commandjos.com MUST COME BACK TO LIFE Bamidele.........Appology accepted

I was so relaxed that when i get to work(i.e where am serving) on the friday prior to the naming ceremony i will get the address of the Venue, but unfortunately, i could not make it to work on that day because of an unannounced stomachache. The funny thing is that it never occurred to me that the address can be gotten from anywhere on the internet!!!! !!. I know this excuse is , though the truth, not enough and does not justify my absence because others will have a more genuie ones, therefore am very sorry. The fact is(from bragadoe's mail) i am not very impressed about our attendance, we should strive to do better next time. Which brings me to the matter of the end of the month meeting. Is this still feasible? what is the latest? i will very be happy to get an answer to these questions. I believe that one of the reasons of the low turn-out at the occassion is because we have not come together to deliberate on issues. People are used to sending messages over the internet and phones thereby subtituting these media for their absence(i am not exempted). If we get ourselves used to the idea of attending meetings like we used to do(kudos to seniors like Col. Brigeni, Victor Okhai, Andrews e.t.c), we will see the benefits of our unity. Although the association is not solely for self benefits, i must give this account to tell us the importance of coming together. When the meetings were still regular i was one of the most active attendees-no exaggerations intended, i met senior andrews who gave me senior adams' number, this happened some years b4 i graduated. When i graduated i just gave senior Adam a call and explained things to him ; I was posted to Lagos for my NYSC without spending a dime for what normally should have cost me a lot of pay and time. That was done in the spirit of commandonism. Therefore i want us to rise together and rewake the Spirit Joscommandos' ; afterall, there only 2 schools in Nigeria- Our's and others.
