This is indeed a very sad day for all of us. The sheer thought of the fact that Ikenna is dead makes tears to immediately well up in my eyes. Although Ikenna was my junior in command and also of a different house, we bonded very well. We also met in ABU where again he proved himself a true friend that he has always been. My younger brother who is also a commando but of Kaduna extraction is still in shock as I speak. They were both of the faculty of pharmaceutical sciences in ABU and were in fact course mates. Ikenna was a fine young man who mixed easily with people and was so detribalised. He was a man who richly valued relationships. May your good, vibrant and gentle soul rest in the bosom of the Lord where there is peace always. May the Good Lord also grant to the members of his immediate family the fortitude to bear with this irrepairable loss. ADIEU our dear brother and friend, Ikenna.

The circumstances that led to his death even more depressing. Ikenna was a true Commando. May The Lord grant his family the strength to cope through this very sad times. May the Spirit of God comfort his wife. Rest in peace, Ikenna. You will live on in our hearts.
