I've been translating JOSM into Icelandic which is mostly going fine, but I'm having some trouble where the same strings e.g. "Edit" are used in entirely different contexts in the application. This might be OK in some languages but not in others.
Reading the gettext-commons tutorial I don't see a way around this, except perhaps the trc() function.
