Ok, whom to talk for such an effect to take place. While I know trac is similar to mediawiki in the sense that anyone can make a change as far as the wikifation is concerned, although as its the startup page its possible that it may have restricted/protected/semi-protected access. Any info. on this would be nice to know. If possible then would do the same and link it to the Release processes webpage. I do have another query too, why are there not more plugins, presets within JOSM? I do see a sizeable number of additional presets [1] , styles and plugins as linked from the JOSM startup page. Is it due to possible memory constraints or something or something like symbology [2] in the sense that the given presets and styles and icons are 'safe'/universal or something ? I ask as I also saw something similar being shared/discussed in another form on the API 0.7 page [3] . See the bit about the notation of trunk being discussed/shared by by the OP. We attempted to do a bit of mapping in a nearby college using JOSM last week-end [4] . While I haven't blogged about the issues we faced while doing the mapping, one of the big irritants was not having all the presets or what to do if a plugin/preset is not available/made etc.For instance we had a bunch of sports buildings but could not find any icons within JOSM. For the record we used the latest tested snapshot [5] Thanx again for replying so quickly. > Cheers, > Simon > > [1] http://josm.openstreetmap.de/ticket/7132 0 - http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=666190#15 1 - http://josm.openstreetmap.de/wiki/Presets 2 - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Symbology 3 - http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/w/index.php?title=API_v0.7#Classes 4 - http://wp.me/pfuZu-zr 5 - http://josm.openstreetmap.de/josm-tested.jar -- Regards, Shirish Agarwal शिरीष अग्रवाल My quotes in this email licensed under CC 3.0 http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/3.0/ http://flossexperiences.wordpress.com 065C 6D79 A68C E7EA 52B3 8D70 950D 53FB 729A 8B17 _______________________________________________ josm-dev mailing list [email protected] http://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/josm-dev
