The Parable of the rich man and Lazarus...
Shows us the 2 types of sin we can commit...
They are the sins of Commision and the sins of Ommision..
The Sins of Commision are those which we willingly commit..
The sins of ommision are those that happen due to our neglect , due to the
fact that we didnt do something that we had to do or refused to get involved
in it.
the rich man saw Lazarus every day at his door step...but wouldnt do
anything about it...
This was his major problem...
God brings people into our lives, that we may be witnesses in small ways to
his love...
He doesnt want us to try to change the world situation..we are too small and
weak for that..(That job should be left to the expert... the Holy Spirit).
God wants us to try to change ourselves first, and then to change the
situation of those few people he sends into our Life..
Let me put it this way, Our God is a "God of Small Things" and also "God of
All Things."
A poet has said about success "To know that even one life breathes easily,
because of me,that is to have succeeded."
