I installed jquery 1.1.2, thickbox 3.0 and the compat-1.0.js patch for Drupal all on the same site and Thickbox died quickly. I played around with the code for a while and found that a call to show() in TB was the culprit.
Wondering how to attack these kinds of problems in the future. On the one hand, I don't know who supports the compat patch (John, maybe?) to report bugs as I come across them. On the other, I don't know the actual API for jquery 1.0 - was show() part of the deal back then? Any help filling in the blanks would be appreciated.
