some rows or some columns? if columns, then the link Remon provided is correct. If rows, I'm not entirely sure I understand what you mean. If you need them at the top, have them in your thead. if you need them at the bottom, put them in your tfoot. if you want to sort within specific groups, the plugin does not support it. if you're trying to have content appended for repeating headers or similar, consider pagination or create your own repeat headers widget like the sample: http://tablesorter.com/docs/example-widgets.html
