I just tested Wellman's navAccordion.html program using the LAST stable UI release and jquery 1.2.6 and it works. Likely true of the several other programs (including dialog programs that fail now -- and used to work). The navAccordion.html program does not work with UI 1.7 and jquery 1.3.1, thus either this not ready to be an official release because of violations of backward compatibility which everyone wants there to be some provision for.
Other programs to test with UI 1.5.3 and jquery 1.2.6 *_VS_* running them with UI 1.7 and jquery 1.3.1 are the other accordion and dialog programs which come with Dan Wellman's "Jquery UI 1.6 book for starters.
