I had the same problem. What got it working for me was to unpack the
src.jar file found in the jdk1.3 directory into a src directory under the
jdk1.3 directory. The following link
http://www.tek-tools.com/kawa/docs/kawasetup.htm does mention this step for
general Kawa setup of the JDK. If you look at the 1.3 directions it will
point you to the 1.2.x directions which has this procedure of unpacking the
source. Hope this works for you and make sure you set your java source
directory under the Customize/Options dialog to the src directory where you
unpacked the source.
