See sample6b in the JRun samples directory. That's an example of pub-sub
JMS messaging that works. What's the example you're referring to?
Something from the Developing Applications pdf? There may be a bug in the
documentation. Could you point out the page numbers, please?

I did not clearly state the problem. There is no
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException. Therefore,the code finds the
TopicConnectionFactory class just fine, It is
contained in jms.jar which is on my classpath. The exception that is thrown
is a javax.naming.NamingException with the message: TopicConnectionFactory
not found. Since I try to run the example in the JRun manual, there is
either a problem with the way this class is accessed on the JRun server or
there is a
problem with the deployment or implementation of the java messaging service
in JRun. I am wondering whether there are individuals out there that got
the
publish/subscribe type of messaging to work with JRun 3.0 and what exactly
they did to get it to work.
