There seems to be no clear explanation to map a url to a web application.
Everyone can give me half answers and instructions on how to do things I can
already do. But that is still a far cry from actually setting up a
multi-homed environment where Jrun applications are associated with a
corresponding web site. This seemingly simple thing to do is very near black
magic ( in the world of J2ee) since no one can actually seem to do it.
I will have to recommend to clients to avoid J2ee and wait for .NET because
the cost of setting it up is too high. I am sure with time we can get it to
work but let me tell you, when compare days it requires to set up production
J2ee vs. the minutes it does to set up a BETA of .NET, it is an easy
choice.
