I have just started looking at Textpad and it seems to be a great tool.
Ctrl+1 to compile the current file, how simple can you get?

I have tried 3 or 4 Java Builders that have been built in Java.  They all
push this as though it is a major selling point.  However, I don't believe
Java applications are yet ready for the client.  (Why don't they just say
"slow as molasses in Winter!!!")  They are slow and still don't integrate
well enough into the OS.  Until I get a Java Builder written in C++, or
whatever, a native application, I can't see myself using one.

BTW, JRun Studio is also somewhat clunky.

Does anybody know if there are any Java Builders programmed in C++?
