i did read the distributed section, from what I understand we can have a
webserver and Jrun on one box, and another box with Jrun installed.
We can have proxy settings so that all requests go and hit the other jrun
box. Or we can also do servlets chaining.
But do you know whether we can have servlets of a webapp setup on one box
with Jrun and IIS installed and the beans hosted on another box with Jrun
installed?.

While it is easier to configure JRun to run on the same machine as the Web
server it is connected to (in this case, IIS), it is possible to set JRun up
in a distributed environment.
Check the most recent version of the JRun Setup Guide (formerly this content
