The JRun Forums are monitored by the entire JRun Support group, and pretty
much every posting does get responded to. But there are some that get
missed, unfortunately, and we do tend to place more focus on those issues
for which customers have paid for support (call center, support plans, etc.)
because that just seems fair. We try to stress that any issues that are
production-related or time-sensitive are not really appropriate for the
Forums, because there are no SLAs (service level agreements) associated with
the Forums - just as there are no SLAs associated with JRun-Talk.

When this issue surfaced a few days ago, we immediately began testing a
variety of JRun builds (both 3.0 and 3.1) and were able to reproduce and
document the bug behavior. We then forwarded the results of this testing to
Development, who were then able to tear the product apart and provide a fix.
That's the way the system is supposed to work, and by and large, it does
work that way. But there is always room for improvement, and we appreciate
getting your (and everyone else's) feedback on our performance. Thanks.

Subject: Resolution to session problem

Question for Mark Fields:

How are the forums monitored at allaire.com? I
posted this problem out there 3 times and never
received any responses except someone trying to
duplicate the problem.
