I figured it may be something with my classpath which is set in the environment variables. I already have this existing path (C:\Program files\allaire\jrun\lib\ext\;c:\jdk1.2.2\lib\). And now that I understand that I need to use the javac command first (i'm trying to make my first servlet) I get this error. 'javac' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.
