Chris, Javac is in the jdk1.2.2\bin directory. Try putting c:\jdk1.2.2\bin in your system path.

I already have this existing path (C:\Program files\allaire\jrun\lib\ext\;c:\jdk1.2.2\lib\). And now that I understand that I need to use the javac command first (i'm trying to make my first servlet) I get this error. 'javac' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. Thanks for all the feedback.
