What's odd about this is that it is new behavior. Nothing has changed,
as far as I can tell.

JRun 4, with all of the latest patches applied to make it work on Solaris 9.

That was actually my first thought. There was nothing untoward there.
I'll be checking out the event logs again. Perhaps there's something
hidden in there that I didn't see before...
