Hi Les, 
I've probably missed your post that time, and then not had much time to deal
with it. 
I'm not sure if I will be able to find the code I was using when facing the
problem, as I recently changed my laptop. But from  what I remember, it was
not a web application, but rather standalone proof-of-concept prototype, 
something similar to JSecurity quick start example application. So I
definitely did not use JSecurityFilter, as it wasn't web application.
