I agree the default realm can be very useful for fast prototyping,
test environments, etc. I just think that you should have to flip
some simple flag like enable.default.realm or enable.test.realm to
make it active. I think that approach is a good compromise between
simplicity/ease-of-use and confusing users with a realm and user/
passwords they didn't configure.
