Yep. Google's "report spam" feature doesn't get rid of spam. I've clicked quite a few of those messages but they don't go away. When I click on "report spam" link, it changes to text "reporting thread" and then "reported thread." When I refresh the page, the same message has again a link to "report spam". Whatever they are doing, it isn't working. Information exchange and knowledge sharing is, to me, one of the most important and fundamental facets of the Internet. Spam causes harm to that and Google is taking what appears to be a very passive role in dealing with it. I have continually advocated for Rey and Asen to seek sponsorship by placing a "Donate" link on the JSMentors.com webpage and also by asking for the W3C to sponsor this "educate web developers" initiative. -- Garrett -- To view archived discussions from the original JSMentors Mailman list: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ To search via a non-Google archive, visit here: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ To unsubscribe from this group, send email to [email protected]
