Whoa. Dude. This kind of talk is making a lot of people uncomfortable. Well, it's making *me* uncomfortable. Could we chill and try to get along? I joined this group for the specific reason that it promised to be a friendly place to talk about JavaScript. I'm happy to see people top-post, inline-post, sideways-post, or whatever, as long as we're communicating and learning from each other and having fun doing it. Personally, I *prefer* top-posting, but you'd probably think I was out of line if I started correcting people when they don't post "my" way, wouldn't you? :-) I like top-posting because it seems to lead to a more civil, thoughtful conversation. Specifically, it helps avoid the dreaded point-by-point rebuttal, which is a sure way to start a flamewar. But I know other posting styles have their advantages too. They're all fine by me as long as people are courteous with each other. Fair enough?
