Hey Daniel, don't stress, and welcome to the group :) OTOH (for future reference), if you're asking a question about jQuery, it *is* helpful to clarify that, even if it's obvious to most people. (some JavaScripters get a bit narked because there are others who can't tell the difference between jQuery and JavaScript.)
