I think the killer feature of node is not JS, but asynchronous design from ground up, with no blocking libraries that would complicate things.

Because of that it may not make sense for Microsoft to create some "node.Net" that's incompatible with existing .Net approach. That won't help them sell more .Net stuff, and hopefully Microsoft is in business of selling their software, not just doing proprietary me-too copies of everything :)
