You can make up your own design patterns that solves a commonly
reoccurring problem, like polluting the global namespace, what the
pattern above solves. There are several other design patterns that are
language specific, and not mentioned on the page above. Like
ActionScript, C++, Python etc. have their own design patterns that
solves issues that are common in those languages.
