performance, but with others (low-end dells, hp/compaq) systems, things are
locked in bios so no optimizing there, they use low-end chipsets, and some
overclock certain components to get an apparently faster system. These
things all mean problems! Finally, with intel chipsets, in every generation
there are few that are overall good for anything, while others are more
express/basic sets. You need a system with one of the top of the line
chipsets, it depends on your processor/motherboard/generation though, that's
when the researching of all this stuff comes in.
So this is probably why your system is giving you problems, it doesn't have
to be the latest i7 system, or 1 built by nasa for that matter, but it just
has to be put together correctly and configured correctly!
