To do a dualboot you either have to know the process very well and know your partition and hard drive layout very well. What I mean is, what disk number the hard drive is, what partition you want to use/format, if you want to create a new partition, how much free space you need etc. I can normally do it without assistance, but that's only because I've been building computers and installing OS's for years now, so I have the process memorized and all the screen memorized.
